Thomas Moran, "Childe Roland to the dark Tower Came", Oil on Canvas, 1859, inspired by Robert Browning's poem of the same title, who wrote it in 1855.

i visited his home once at Conflan Ste Honorine, with my family. It was great and we had the chance to see for real some landscape that inspired him.
My mother loves RENOIR and we had lot of pictures about his paintings at home.
