many expressions in that article i don't undertand, but i think i got the main idea.

when i first saw this parody on MW, i though it was an imitator or something, but SHE sang that parody.   

A radio asked listeners to create a parody and the best one has been sang by Katie herself because she found it funny.

I hope i'm right.
