We'll Meet Again.

As we have hyst had Armistice day. This is an old Wartime song made famous by Vera Lynn. We'll Meet Again, don't know where don't know when but I know we'll meet again some sunny day.

I always connect this song with the end of Dr. Strangelove, which means I'm usually laughing when I hear it.
Don't get me wrong Babs, it's a beautiful tune, but In my head it ha a different connotation.

It evokes a lot of emotion and nostalgia for those who experienced those dark times but it's now a part of our history and modern culture I suppose. As I stood at the war memorial with the other veterans on Remembrance Sunday you could have played it then and it would not have been out of place.
